(Definitions of terms related to aircraft tires are found in 2.2.)

- ARP5265 is being revised to update Section 5 with regard to a more universal approach to the maintenance of aircraft tire inflation pressures. Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA) TISB (Tire Information Service Bulletin) - Aircraft Tire Operational Inflation Pressure Criteria (June 2012) has been updated to clarify the approach. For consistency, it is essential that the same concepts be incorporated into the SAE recommended practices.
