The revision updates the Title to match the scope, prohibits unauthorized exceptions (3.6, 3.9, 4.4.8, 5.2.1, 8.8), and establishes associated size limits (1.1), prohibits bar being cut from plate (3.3.1, 4.4.7), updates composition testing and reporting (3.1, 3.1.1), adds strain rate control for tensile tests (3.5.2.2.1), requires reporting of country of origin (4.4), updates definitions (8.4), adds direction on stock removal (8.6), adds optional forging stock ordering information (8.9), and allows prior revisions (8.7).
