Scope

Content: This specification covers polythioether rubber fuel resistant sealing compounds supplied as a two-component system which cures at room temperature.

Rationale

Content: Remove Magnesium from Peel Strength Test listing (added as part of MIL-S-29574 incorporation). This makes AMS3277 consistent with other AMS sealing compound specifications and avoids condition where panel corrodes excessively in immersion environment precluding performance of peel test. Test is inconsistent with use of Mg in design.
