This specification covers established inch/pound manufacturing tolerances applicable to copper and copper alloy seamless tubing ordered to inch/pound dimensions. These tolerances apply to all conditions, unless otherwise noted. The term "exclusive" is used to apply only to the higher figure of a specified range.
Rationale
AMS2223H has been reaffirmed to comply with the SAE Five-Year Review policy.
The committee of Nonferrous Alloys, AMS Committee D, shall prepare, coordinate, and revise documents related to nonferrous metals technology, such as aluminum, magnesium, and copper, through the participation of metals suppliers, users, and interested government agencies. Committee activities shall provide a forum for the cooperative interchange of ideas and experience of the participants, resulting in the publication of specifications that embody sound, established aerospace industry practices and requirements to serve the suppliers and customers of aerospace materials.

Using Quotes
Words in double quotes " " are treated as a phrase. Conducting a search for "heat model" will return all results in which the exact phrase "heat model" is found, while "heat modeling" would NOT be included.
