Abstract
The methodology presented in this paper is based in Osborn, who can be condensed as: Men evolve in the measure to which they follow standards, improve standards, and create new standards....
Results through quality, the ultimate objective of performance.
The proposed approach is the conjunction of the basic aspects of the HPE (Human Performance Engineering) where all the actions are targeted to the potential contribution and to the ultimate results they can generate.
The ISO 9000 (International Standards Organization) standards series is the standard requirement for international and domestic trade. It has been a major catalyst in the universal upgrading of organization quality and operations systems throughout the world.
Wherever any enterprise is taking place, and where the business activities, i.e., its operations and detailed procedures, are systemized, the ISO 9000 standards, if implemented, allow one to understand the relationship to these standards to other quality requirements.
Q - XXI The integrative software PROXION has developed - a JPA (Job Performance Aid) which automates the entire evaluation processes allowing the implementation team to dedicate its conceptual framework to adding value activities and control the process. Results of an ongoing project, where these principles are being used, are presented
“HPT - Human Performance Technology is an engineering approach to attaining desired [and measurable] (italics mine) accomplishments from human performers.” Stolovitch & Keeps, Handbook of Human Performance Technology, 1992
The objective of ISO 9000 Standards is to provide customers with consistent and reliable quality from suppliers. Implementing ISO 9000 (and QS 9000), in any organization, is an excellent opportunity to revise and evaluate processes in order to develop complete, accurate and unambiguous procedures. The HPT approach assures this.
This ISO 9000 certification offers any organization opportunities to develop and expand the quest for quality on an international basis. This paper also applies in the same concept for the QS 9000, which has an important role in the development of the automotive related industries.
