Authors Abstract
Content
PANOLIN HLP SYNTH was created as a high-tech biodegradable component for modern hydraulic systems. As people became more aware of the environment in the early eighties, public funds were allocated for the development of environmentally friendly hydraulic oils. Convinced that this could only be achieved through naturally regenerating products, most manufacturers invested largely in developing vegetable oil based products.
In 1983 without the assistance of public research funding, PANOLIN began developing an environmentally friendly hydraulic oil based on saturated synthetic esters. PANOLIN HLP SYNTH takes advantage of the fact that saturated dicarboxylic acid esters resist aging more readily than unsaturated oleate compounds and meet the biodegradable and toxicity requirements of the regulatory bodies.
Since biologically degradable hydraulic oils are now considered state of the art in this technology, many companies, including civil and hydroelectric works contractors, use these products in their plants and machinery.
After thirteen years on the market, with in many cases over ten thousand hours of operation, the technical data and wear reduction statistics of PANOLIN HLP SYNTH support its performance record.
