Abstract
Site specific farming promises to use information technologies to improve the efficiency and cost effectiveness of cropping resources. Variable application of fertilizer and pesticides allows a producer to farm each part of a field based upon its potential maximum yield. Past yield performance is one additional factor that can help determine future input levels.
