Abstract
A new method of temperature compensation for gas lift cylinders has been developed which results in improved operating characteristics by using a thermal switch activated poppet valve. This allows the use of lighter weight lift cylinders, which have a more consistent handle load over the operating temperature range; with subsequent increased flexibility for applications.
