Abstract
Equipment users are the best source of information about the demands put upon vehicles. They know exactly how vehicles are used, and they know how well current production models perform under all operating conditions. Based on that knowledge, fleet maintenance executives have detailed in this paper some potential areas for design emphasis in future light-, medium-, and heavy-duty transport equipment.
