Abstract
The Internal High-pressure Forming process is especially suited for the production of hollow light-weight components. Lower component weight for equivalent structure can be achieved. A variety of different shapes are possible, exceeding standard process.
Besides fittings typical applications are exhaust equipments, workpieces for engines, chassis structures, body structures and others for instance profiles. All metallic materials used for cold forming are suited for this process.
