Abstract
Data taken during the operating trials of the demonstration plant have confirmed the principles of the Kalina cycle technology. The demonstration plant is in the form of a 3 MW bottoming cycle located at DOE's Energy Technology and Engineering Center (ETEC) outside Los Angeles. The highlight events that have occurred during the past three years, some plant features and operating data are discussed.
