Authors Abstract
Content
Automotive body sealing has progressed from the time when the internal combustion engine replaced the horse on the buggy, which had no windshield, windows or doors, to the present time when every effort is made to make the passengers as comfortable as possible by isolating them from heat, cold, wind, water and noise.
This pursuit of comfort has not only been made possible by but has also created the need for new developments in designs, materials, manufacturing procedures and tooling.
