Abstract
Usually long tractor trailers require bigger turning radius to negotiate any turn. Except for the highways in India, most of the roads are of narrow width and have sharper bends, which do not allow long tractor trailers to navigate through these roads in single attempt sometimes without to and fro movements. In industrial and ghat areas these type of maneuvers, create problems for smooth movement of the traffic, can lead to wastage of time and may damage expensive property around
To tackle this problem a new concept has been proposed to split the trailer into two parts, thereby reducing the turning radius of the vehicle.
