Abstract
A group of computer routines have been developed aimed at simplifying the task of calculating voltages and currents induced in several common types of wiring system by lightning and HIRF. Different portions of the programs perform calculations to develop equivalent circuits of wiring systems, calculate the response of the equivalent circuits and plot the resulting data. Calculations of this nature must often be performed during the certification process of new types of general aviation aircraft. The procedures for developing equivalent circuits are explained in some detail.
